What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing, the Data Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the organizations data and analytics strategy by working closely with the business to execute on data-driven initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing data solutions, performing data analysis, and growing data awareness and literacy within the company. This role requires a strong foundation in descriptive and inferential statistics.

Our ideal candidate should have an interest in the digital analytics field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and be a team player. This candidate should also love to research and be on the cutting edge of data optimization techniques, statistics best practices, and methodologies to level up our research.

A Day in the Life of the Data Analyst- About the role:

  • Measuring, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators to identify behaviors, trends, and opportunities for improving our products’ profitability
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gain insights into user behavior and product performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on findings from product analytics, user journey mapping, heat mapping, and continuous website optimization
  • Conduct monthly and ad hoc reports and studies to present findings and highlight key performance indicators and opportunities for optimizing our products
  • Create technical specifications and documentation for the development team

Required Qualifications - About you:

  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to analyze large data sets
  • Solid understanding descriptive and inferential statistics principles
  • Knowledge of design principles (e.g., randomization, sample size calculation, power analysis, hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical tools such as SAS, MATLAB or similar tools
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for optimization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of R-Studio or Phyton for statistical modeling
  • Previous experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) or related fields
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Google Search Console
  • Familiarity with usability testing or UX research techniques (heatmap analysis, session recordings)
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel, including writing functions to clean up and analyze data
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
