As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a talented Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you will leverage your Python analysis skills, set up infrastructure in Azure, and contribute to application implementations using TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Analysis and Modeling:

Conduct in-depth analysis of consumer data to assess credit risk, fraud risk, and other financial risks. Develop, implement, and maintain advanced risk models using Python and machine learning techniques. Continuously monitor and fine-tune existing risk models to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk models into decision-making processes.

Data Management And Infrastructure

Set up and maintain data infrastructure in Azure, ensuring data availability, reliability, and security. Create data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing. Automate data processing workflows to streamline analysis and reporting.

Machine Learning And Predictive Analytics

Utilize Python for machine learning to build predictive models for credit risk assessment, fraud detection, and other risk-related tasks. Perform feature engineering and selection to optimize model performance. Conduct A/B testing to validate model effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Application Implementations With TypeScript

Collaborate with software development teams to implement risk management strategies within our applications. Write and maintain code using TypeScript to enhance risk-related features and functionalities. Ensure seamless integration of risk models into the user-facing BNPL platform. Reporting and Communication: Generate detailed reports on risk-related metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through data visualizations, presentations, and written reports. Collaborate closely with risk management teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning. Strong experience in setting up and managing data infrastructure in Azure. Hands-on experience with TypeScript for application implementations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of financial risk management concepts and experience in a FinTech or financial services environment is a plus.
