The responsibilities of the Tax Accountant will include the ability to review and manage multi-state monthly and quarterly sales tax returns, prepare use tax monthly computations, and review tax return computations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage multi-state monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns
  • Provide support to the outside preparer of Company's multi-state personal property tax returns
  • Prepare annual business licenses and monitor annual reports for multiple jurisdictions
  • Prepare occupational tax returns
  • Assist in preparation of annual budget for property tax and sales tax
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant tax experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough understanding of sales and use tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions
