Our Client, A Well-Respected DC Law Firm, is seeking a Temporary Recruiting Coordinator to join it's Team through August 2024.

Position Title: Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Legal Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting the recruitment efforts of the legal department or law firm. This position involves coordinating various aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, managing applicant tracking systems, and assisting with onboarding activities.

Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various recruiting methods to attract potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals. Build and maintain relationships with law schools, legal organizations, and other relevant sources to identify top talent. Candidate Screening and Selection: Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for available positions. Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including scheduling, preparing interview materials, and providing feedback to candidates. Administrative Support: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for out-of-town candidates. Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and other hiring-related documents. Onboarding Assistance: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including coordinating orientation sessions, collecting new hire paperwork, and facilitating training programs. Serve as a point of contact for new hires to address any questions or concerns during the onboarding process. Recruitment Metrics and Reporting: Track recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and applicant conversion rates. Generate regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within the legal industry. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP). Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Experience with campus recruiting programs. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Additionally, the Legal Recruiting Coordinator may be responsible for other duties as assigned by the manager or recruiting team.
