Project Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Development group for foreign exchange (FX) trading. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building out a target operating model for our front office trading platforms, including Execution Management Systems (EMS), Order Management Systems (OMN) and Portfolio Management Systems (PMS). This role requires a deep understanding of front office trading systems, FX markets and technical acumen to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

FX Business Analyst - Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Admin, IT or a related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets sector, with a focus on front office trading systems and FX trading.
  • Strong knowledge of EMS, OMS and PMS platforms and their role in trading operations
  • Technically savvy with the ability to understand system architectures, data flows and integration points
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

As Business Analyst you will Gather and document detailed business requirements from front office trading teams and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams
  • Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for proposed changes and enhancements
  • Support the implementation of new trading platforms and system upgrades
  • Participate in system testing, including developing test cases, performing user acceptance testing and coordinating with users for feedback
  • Serve as a liaison between front office trading teams, IT, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication & collaboration
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review project progress, address issues and gather feedback
