Assist in integration and qualification of communication navigation, and surveillance radio and avionics equipment.

Assist in reviewing analyses, drawings, test requirements, and ICDs to assess platform requirement and impacts to airworthiness

Support integration and testing for future avionics and mission equipment capability

Verify qualification of avionics and mission equipment at the component and system level for integration into Army aircraft.

Review statements of airworthiness qualification and airworthiness releases for avionics and mission equipment.

Develop operational guidelines and restrictions using available data that allows safe use of newly developed and modified avionics and mission equipment packages on aircraft.

Follows PO systems engineering principles, takes direction and coordination from all stakeholders involved in a configuration change to the aircraft.

Resolves issues with requirements verification efforts for achieving Airworthiness Releases (AWRs).

Collaborate with engineering disciplines resident at the Army SRD - Airworthiness to support qualification of aviation avionics and mission equipment.

Supports and advise various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) on systems engineering best practices.

Ensures system and subsystem requirements are traceable and verifiable.

Reviews and adjudicates submitted CDRL artifacts to include all levels of performance requirement specifications (system, subsystem, software), specification change notices, design descriptions, request for deviations, engineering change proposals, engineering change notices, technical reports, test plans, performance plans, and others.

Provides support for for Statements of Work (SOW) development and proposal technical evaluations for weapon systems.

Provides input to scopes of work (SOWs) to ensure appropriate systems engineering requirement managements, technical reviews, and CDRLs are incorporated appropriately.

Prepares and present briefings/technical papers to Senior Leaders and communicate and interface with technical representatives

Provides written and verbal assessments to management regarding status, issues, and risk.

Supports and provides feedback for contract gate reviews, Technical Interface Meetings (TIMs), design reviews, and other technical meetings.
