Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking dedicated Credentialing Coordinators to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and professional development in the healthcare industry.

Job Description:

As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for healthcare providers. This includes conducting primary source verifications, processing initial credentialing files, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an up-to-date credentialing database.
  • Process initial credentialing and re-credentialing files.
  • Review and record results of background screenings.
  • Monitor the initial, re-credentialing, and expirables process.
  • Verify providers' requirements for approval to work in specific states and plans.
  • Respond to monthly audits.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of successful work experience in a credentialing role.
  • Proficiency in CAQH or MDstaff software.
  • Direct experience in credentialing, not tied to payor enrollment.
  • Experience verifying education utilizing sources such as AMA, AOA, Nursys, and State Licensure Boards.
Additional Details:
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Location: Hybrid, with 2 days in-office in Dallas and monthly team meetings
  • Type of Assignment: Contract, likely spanning 6 months to 1 year
