This includes research, planning, developing, and configuration of new and existing projects/technologies to introduce into company network infrastructure. Provide continual maintenance of new and existing network hardware/software. Follow best practices methods for configuration and security of network hardware/software. Communicate to Senior Network Engineer of any issues that may arise as well as any projects requiring network downtime. Provide monitoring and reporting for all aspect of company network infrastructure and performance. Provide network support to all locations throughout the Compass Health network. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. This is a Remote position open to Missouri residents only. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC • Manage Compass Health network infrastructure, including managed services routers, switches, firewalls, security appliances, and wireless hardware/software • Perform network design and capacity planning • Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and contractors to secure network products and services • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery • Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights • Perform system backups and recovery • Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports • Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades and repairs • Provide guidance to junior members of the team • Other duties as assigned • After hours/weekend periodic On-Call as needed Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS • Three (3) years equivalent work experience preferred • Expert knowledge of various routing/switching protocols • High level understanding of configuration and deployment of Cisco/Meraki, HP, Aruba, Velocloud SD-WAN and Fortinet devices and software • Expert knowledge of security standards configuration of network hardware/software • High level ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex networking issues • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives • Knowledge of applicable privacy practices and laws • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products as required • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment preferred • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language • Highly self-motivated and directed • Keen attention to detail • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Cisco Networking certification (CCNA or CCNP) or equivalent required Compass Health Network
