The Mental Health Professional III performs assessments, psycho-education, process groups, treatment planning, discharge planning and therapeutic counseling support through evidenced based interventions in individual, family, and group therapy. What you will do in this role:You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of psychiatric patients.You will instruct patients and families regarding treatment instructionsDemonstrates advanced clinical skills and ability to plan and facilitate individual, group and family psychoeducational and process groups.Develops treatment plans and attends treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis.Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge.
