**POSITION SUMMARY:**

The Customer Service Representative will intercept and route incoming calls as well as work with prospects via phone and e-mail to bring service opportunities into the dealership. This position requires a driven, customer service-minded individual who can communicate effectively.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

* Ability to read, speak and write English in order fulfill job functions in an understandable way - *Bi-lingual folks encouraged to apply*

* Ability to operate a computer and telephone system *- Be prepared for a ton of phone calls*

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* High school diploma

* High level of optimism - *Make that first impression count*

****ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:****

* Schedule inbound service calls using the established company scripts and training - *Then you'll have the tools needed to provide excellent customer service*

* Make outbound service calls to prospect and schedule service appointments

* Log all activity in customer relationship management software - *Don't want to forget who you already talked to*

* Follow up on missed appointments and perform quality-assurance follow up calls

* Staff the reception desk according to the scheduled rotation

* Positively work on a diverse team - *We may not always get along, but kindness and respect are non-negotiables*

* Speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism and competence to callers

* Professional personal appearance

* Communicate messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner

* All other duties as assigned - *Can't forget about this one*

**PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:**

* Office environment

* Sitting for several hours at one time

* Ability to move within different departments at the dealership

* Ability to work weekends - *No Sundays though*
