Software Engineer

to guide the development of the software platform for our measurement instruments. As a software architect you will lead the project technically and be responsible for the definition and deployment of the software from concept through design, implementation, test and integration. You will work with a code base of C, C++, and C#. You will collaborate with colleagues who have complementary expertise (electronics, design, microwave engineering) as part of a multidisciplinary, international team. Required skills and expertise

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar, or relevant work experience; Experience (5+ years) in the design and implementation of complex Windows desktop applications in C, C++, and C#; Experience with data acquisition (e.g. VISA and or vendor libraries) and data processing (e.g. FFT, matrix math, etc. using external libraries) Wide knowledge of and experience in working with software interfaces such as API and DLL; Ability to think outside the box; Lateral-thinker with a big-picture view, capable of finding an appropriate solution for complex problems; A natural influencer: communicative, able to put across ideas easily, able to convince others, an active listener, prepared to accept other viewpoints; Business-minded with an improvement-oriented attitude; Excellent communication skills in English; Preferred additional skills

Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role; Experience maintaining or expanding large, existing codebases; Experience with abstraction, reflection, multi-threading and other advanced software concepts; Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XAML) and WPF framework; Knowledge of RESTful API design patterns; Understanding of electronics, RF engineering, signal processing, or test & measurement; Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL), web servers (e.g. Apache, IIS) and UI/UX design; Knowledge of MATLAB, LabView and/or Python is an asset; Experience with AI, machine learning, or digital twins What we offer An inspiring, dynamic and challenging high-tech environment; A full-time position (40 hours per week); A market-competitive salary (commensurate with skills and experience);
