Job Description:

  • Developing nanopore based sequencing dedicated to making clinical genetic testing easy and affordable. We are developing a revolutionary single-molecule DNA sequencer that can improve the lives of people in a wide variety of ways including timely screening for diseases and diagnosis of various cancers.
  • Become an expert on the operation and functionality of the CLIENT Sequencing Platform and Sample Prep platform to ensure minimal system downtime
  • Work with the engineering teams on resolving discovered issues and propose solutions to common failure modes
  • Support the lab teams with system troubleshooting both at the hardware/software level and the assay level
  • Execute experiments and testing protocols to ensure platform functionality
  • Clearly and timely communicate and collaborate across system, device, instrument, and reagent teams in root cause investigation findings and solution implementations
  • Help design, troubleshoot, and perform instrument development in a fast-paced environment
  • Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40hrs./week
  • Pay Rate: $40 - 48/Hour
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree with 2+ Years of Experience, Master Degree with 1+ Years of Experience
  • Experience with troubleshooting or development of Liquid handlers, Diagnostic systems, NGS Systems, Microfluidics
  • Experience with Defect Management and/or Failure Analysis, Preferred
  • Experience with programs such as JMP, R, Python, etc.
  • Contract to Start, conversion/extension on performance
