Your Impact as an OR Nurse Manager:

As the OR Nurse Manager, you will:

Lead a High-Performing Team:

You'll provide inspirational leadership to a team of skilled operating room nurses, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and patient-centered care.

Ensure Quality Patient Care:

You'll be accountable for managing and coordinating quality patient care in a cost-effective manner, complying with patient care standards and job-specific performance standards.

Oversee Daily Operations:

You'll supervise operating room clinical staff, manage professional nursing care for patients in surgical and procedural areas, and ensure the smooth functioning of the department.

Assess, Plan, Evaluate, and Document:

You'll utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop care plans, evaluate outcomes, and document progress in the assigned unit.

Mentor and Develop Staff:

You'll serve as a resource person for staff, providing guidance and support for their performance and development.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Current California Registered Nurse License

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

3+ years of progressively responsible nursing management experience (leadership experience such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in an acute care hospital)

Preferred:

CNOR and/or CPAN certification
