The nurse shall have completed a nursing education program that included clinical experiences with actual patients under the supervision of qualified faculty. Required Licenses and Certifications:Current California Registered Nurse Licensure - Upon hireBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Certificate - Upon hireEmployee will be enrolled in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on their previous BLS certification) - Within 3 months of hire into jobPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Employees that have never been certified must take a live initial AHA certification class. Employees with recently expired certifications will be enrolled in Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) - Within 3 months of hire into jobOncology Nursing Society (ONS) Bio-Chemo - Within 6 months of hire into jobOther Experience and Qualifications: One year full time ICU experience as an RN.
