Who we are looking for:
The Loss Mitigation Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting with daily production requirements for document intake, underwriting, closing, and investor reporting for the Loss Mitigation department. This is an entry-level position for individuals with a desire to enter the default mortgage servicing industry.
- Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO
- Compensation: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Process loss mitigation assistance packages received from customers.
- Assist with managing email inboxes and document workflows in Quandis.
- Place and monitor third-party documentation orders for title reports, credit reports, and valuations.
- Review loss mitigation acknowledgment letters, decision letters, and closing agreements for accuracy and compliance.
- Report milestone loss mitigation events to investors via online platforms.
- Aid in development and implementation projects related to regulatory, industry, investor, or company policy or procedure changes.
- Review daily exception reports to assist with required compliance timelines.
What you'll need to be successful:
- College degree preferred.
- No prior mortgage servicing experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High level of Integrity/confidentiality while handling secure information in addition to having the ability to work through stressful situations professionally and handle frequent changes.
