Since 1985, Mease Countryside Hospital has been raising the standard of care for patients of all ages. Today, our 387-bed facility offers an unwavering commitment to the community. Nationally recognized for its clinical excellence, our award-winning facility features multiple Centers of Excellence, including women and children's services, heart, cancer, neurosciences and orthopedics. Positions Details:

  • Locations: Mease Countryside Hospital - Safety Harbor, Florida
  • Specialty: Medical/Surgical
  • Full Time hours are 3 - 12 hour shifts per week and every other weekend
  • Day Shift - 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Night Shift - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
  • Always in person

The Registered Nurse - ICU responsibilities and skills:
  • Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
  • Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
  • Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition
  • Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
  • Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
  • High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
  • Professional accountability and development
Requirements:
  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
  • 1-year experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting
  • BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
