Our client is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers an opportunity to engage in various financial activities, including the preparation of financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and handling month-end procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards learning. Responsibilities: Generate ad-hoc reports to meet diverse business requirements. Prepare tax documents in compliance with regulatory standards. Compile and analyze financial statements to provide insights for decision-making. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate precise and prompt financial data entry and reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing financial statements and periodicals. Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Advanced MS Excel skills to manipulate and analyze financial data effectively. Ability to thrive in a team environment, working collaboratively towards common goals. Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving financial processes and technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation. Capacity to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently within a dynamic work environment. This is a 100% onsite position, based in our Fairfield office, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced environment.
