In-office Salary:

$110K - $120K dependent on experience

Essential Functions and Duties: Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to direct reports in addition to monitoring and evaluating performance. Strategic analysis of business operations to effectively implement innovative process improvements. File IFTA, HVUT and weight & distance returns. Through subordinate Manager, manage: Onshore and offshore team in the preparation and filing of all fuel excise tax returns, related schedules, and related reports for Federal, State, and Local tax jurisdictions. Prepare and/or approve General Ledger reconciliations.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree in accounting is required 7 - 10 years' of progressive fuel excise tax experience 1+ years' management experience is required Must be highly organized with strong follow-through and follow-up skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Management experience required.
