JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Accounting Internship Location: Brookfield, WI Job Id: 267-2024 # of Openings: 1 SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the CFO the Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions and assist our accounting team with daily operations. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to accounting practices and support your professional development in the field. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Help with the reconciliation of accounts and general ledger entries. Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records. Assist in the preparation of tax documents and financial audits. Provide support for special accounting projects and analyses as needed. Review and verify the accuracy of financial documents and transactions. EDUCATION: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a relate field. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
