Who are we looking for?

Wilson Farm is hiring a full-time Sales Associate to join our Garden Department team This position pays from $18.00.

Primary Responsibilities for a Sales Associate in the Garden Department

•Assisting customers in product selection

•Cashiering customers purchases

•Stocking/caring for seasonal plants as well as associated seasonal items, arranging displays

Experience/Qualifications needed

•Knowledge of plants and their care a must

•Prior retail garden center/nursery (indoor/outdoor live plants) experience highly desirable

•Your experience is appreciated if you previously worked for Mahoney's, Russell's Garden Center, Pemberton Farms, Wagon Wheel, Home Depot, Lowe's, or other garden center

•Reliable/punctual with a strong work ethic and friendly, outgoing personality

Work Schedule

•Full-time is 5 days/week (50+ hours/week)

•Includes both weekend days

•Schedule will generally be either opening at 7 am - 5 pm or 10 am - 7 pm closing

•Schedule may fluctuate according to business needs/season

•Holidays will likely require more hours.

Physical Requirements

•Standing/walking/bending/reaching for periods of time; rain or shine

•Be able to lift/carry approximately 40+ lbs. - everything from plants, firewood, bagged soils, etc.
