We seek a creative, self-starter sales professional with a passion for food and beverage to consult with existing customers as well as develop and grow new accounts in the hospitality industry.Job DescriptionThe Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives assigned in a defined geographic territory (NY Metropolitan surrounding areas and northern New Jersey).The position requires a high degree of integrity with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in an independent fashion without direct supervision. QualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Comfortable being in the city at least 4 days a week.Strong organizational and communication skills to manage the entire sales process from quotes to orders between customer and internal.Relationship and networking skills to obtain new connections and retain lasting customer alliances.The ability to multitask and follow up expeditiously so that the customer experience is exceptional.A thirst for knowledge and curiosity to continue learning about the industry to constantly be a source of information to our customers.Demonstrated ability to inspire genuine trust and build strong relationships.Passion for pounding the pavement and proactive in prospecting new opportunities.Solutions driven mindset; find right solutions to problems.Technology savvy, experienced with computers and CRM systems. Experience performing with grace under pressure.Expertise to close hi-value deals.Preparation, insightfulness, productivity, and solid critical thinking.Additional InformationPosition open to all US residents legally authorized to work in the US.
