Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer

Our client, a global leader in nitrogen products and methanol, is looking for a dynamic Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer to join their Reliability Engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing the electrical reliability of their operations.

What You'll Do: - Lead and innovate in the realm of electrical power distribution, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient plant operations. - Manage and update site single line electrical drawings, arc flash analysis, and electrical infrastructure improvements. - Develop and oversee multi-year capital project plans for electrical infrastructure. - Ensure the safety of electrical systems and personnel through electrical coordination studies. - Work closely with Maintenance and Project Engineering teams for new and modified installations. - Engage in the development and execution of design and installation specifications, commissioning plans, and equipment evaluation. - Direct improvements using predictive and non-destructive testing methodologies. - Maintain and update site electrical safety procedures and practices.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering. - 10+ years of experience, preferably in a continuous process industry like chemicals or oil refining. - Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, NETA, and IEEE standards. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. - Licensed PE and CMRP certifications are a plus.
