Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and manage the end-to-end testing process, including impact analysis, high-level design, requirements traceability matrix (RTM), estimation, test planning, risk management, and execution of testing strategies.

Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and scripts, covering a wide range of testing types, such as smoke, functional, regression, destructive, and system testing, as well as overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Mobile App Automation: Utilize automation tools like Appium for Android and iOS platforms, as well as Xamarin Test Cloud, to drive efficient testing of mobile applications.

Automated Testing Frameworks: Develop and maintain in-house testing frameworks, ensuring continuous integration and delivery using Jenkins.

Database Testing: Perform testing on core databases such as DB2, IMS-DB, and VSAM to validate data integrity and processing workflows.

Technical Expertise: Execute test scripts and validations using a variety of programming languages, including Cobol, JCL, Easytrieve, Assembler, Unix, CICS, Java, and C#.

Tool Expertise: Leverage industry-standard tools like FileAid, Panvalet, STS, REXX, ENDEVOR, BMS, CASE, Expeditor, and Intertest to support development and debugging activities.

Test Management: Utilize IBM Rational Quality Manager and Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.

REST API Testing: Validate backend service integrations through REST API testing tools for seamless connectivity across systems.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks, continuous delivery pipelines, and tools like Jenkins.

Expertise in core programming languages like Cobol, Java or C#, and associated testing tools.

Extensive experience in various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, system, UAT, etc.).
