The Role
This pivotal role of Operations Data Analyst within our client is dedicated to the creation and analysis of data aimed at optimizing operational efficiency within the operations team. This position requires collaboration with a range of stakeholders to translate complex data into simple and actionable recommendations, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data to inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide actionable data and analysis to the COO and operations managers, enabling them to make fact-based decisions that enhance efficiency.Includes modeling and various look back and look forward analysis.
- Scout and obtain a wide range of global data inputs from various sources and then enter data and analyze for actionable decision matrix(s).
- Extract a wide range of data inputs from internal systems, internal stakeholders and predominately information provided by 3 rd parties in a wide range of formats and convert to various outputs of analysis.
- Implement rigorous data quality standards to ensure reliability and accuracy in all analytical outputs
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, with a very strong emphasis on being exceptionally proficient with Microsoft Excel and Tableau, including advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, what if's and charting capabilities to name a few.
- Proven ability to provide simple, data-driven insights from complex data sets that support key stakeholders in making fact-based decisions to enhance operational efficiency, while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- A skilled communicator who can translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations, fostering engagement with key stakeholders.
- College degree in either:Data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance from an accredited institution.
- Extremely proficient in Excel and Tableau, Word, e-mails and the ability to rapidly learn and command various other software/application systems.
- Drive, determination, tenacity and a strong work ethic required.
- Positive attitude and a passion for winning.
- Highly proficient, professional and accurate communication (written, email and phone) a must.
- Attention to detail, methodical and systematic within approach, and tenacity for accuracy is critical for success within this role.
- Flexibility and drive to learn more, take on more and expand out-side of this traditional role whenever business needs dictate.
- Fast learner, excellent trained retention skills and ability to grow within this role a must.
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast paced, ever evolving environment.
- Other duties as required.
