**OVERVIEW:** Preferred Produce is a family owned produce distributor delivering fresh produce to our customers daily. We are seeking a full-time customer focused and dynamic delivery driver to add to our ever-growing team Our delivery drivers play a critical role by promptly and professionally delivering pre-loaded pallets of produce to customers while providing excellent customer service .
**WHAT WE OFFER:**
* Full Medical, Dental, Vison, Life insurance

* Starting pay $15 - $18 per hour + Overtime
* Ability to earn up to $1,000 per week or more
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform DOT daily pre and post trip inspection of equipment to ensure safe delivery
* Drive box truck to delivery products to customers in GRAND RAPIDS and surrounding areas including to Lake Michigan lakeshore customers
* Use good judgment in evaluating produce quality
* Demonstrate attention to detail for accuracy in every delivery
* Use hand cart to unload products off truck and into customer specified areas
* Collaborate with the team to solve any problems that arise
* Perform other warehouse duties as needed
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
* Customer service experience
* Active chauffers license
* Delivery experience is a plus
* *Repetitive bending and lifting from 50 to 100 pounds is required*
* The ability to repetitively move on and off equipment is necessary
