**Member Service Representative / Teller**

**Department:** Grandville Branch **Location:** Grandville, MI

**Community West Credit Union is looking for a Member Service Representative to work onsite for our Grandville branch team.**

As a Member Service Representative, you would be responsible for answering basic member questions promptly and courteously regarding accounts, payments, products and services. You will use GOLD, a CU*Answers software system, and other internal systems to access member account information.

You can anticipate three weeks of training, one week for onboarding and orientation, then in weeks 2 and 3, you will move to job shadowing and being shadowed as you become more familiar with your new role. When you are ready, you will transition to assisting members on your own.

The starting pay range for this position is $13.75 - $14.56 an hour based on prior experience.

The hours for this full-time position are: **Monday -** **Friday** 8:45 - 5:15 PM at the Grandville branch and **rotating Saturday's** from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM (with a half day off earlier in the week).

The skills and abilities you need for success in this position include:

* High School diploma, good problem solving, basic math skills, the ability to count and handle a high volume of cash, balance a cash drawer.

* Comfort in the efficient use of a computer, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

* Excellent listening skills, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

* Verbal and written communication skills that project a positive and professional image.
