We are currently searching for a 2nd Shift (3pm 11pm, M-F, occasional Saturdays) Lift Truck Operator position to be based out of their South Holland, IL plant. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for transporting, storing and stacking all materials in accordance with proper inventory control procedures. They will also be picking, checking and processing all material being shipped for correct size, length, gauge, piece count, bundle tags, part number and damage.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of prior fork lift and combi-lift (multi directional, long load handling fork lift) experience in a manual packing environment and experience using an RF scanner. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system based company is a plus.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Proficient with sit down fork lift and combi-lift (multi directional, long load handling fork lift).

Pick, check and process all material being shipped for correct size, length, gauge, piece count, bundle tags, part number and damage.

Transport, store and stack all materials in accordance with proper inventory control procedures.

Ability to lift 45 pounds on a frequent basis.

Strong sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Ability to operate a hand held scanner and utilize a variety of printed work instructions as part of daily work assignment.

Must pass a drug screen and physical.
