is a fast-growing, fast-paced, innovative, probability-based panel housed within NORC at the University of Chicago, a world leader in research excellence.The Sr Analyst, Panel Operations, working closely with Panel management, has significant involvement in a broad range of critical management functions, including productivity analysis and reporting, survey data processing and reporting, quality assurance, and methodological improvement and financial reporting. An incumbent may also serve in a communications role, responsible for leading analysis, planning, and execution for multiple AmeriSpeak print, web, and digital communications initiatives; managing and maintaining contents for all print materials, emails, websites, blogs, and social media strategies and may also work on a variety of specialized AmeriSpeak campaigns or non-AmeriSpeak/client projects. is the first U.S. multiclient household panel to combine the speed and cost-effectiveness of panel surveys with enhanced representativeness of the U.S. population, an approach designed to achieve an industry-leading response rate and an innovative sample quality report card. AmeriSpeak has become the primary survey partner of the nation's preeminent news service, The Associated Press . Developed and funded by NORC, AmeriSpeak randomly identifies Americans—including the country’s hardest-to-reach populations—and recruits them to provide their opinions and insights on a wide range of topics critical to our clients. The outcome is a truly representative picture of America and, thus, more accurate research results for use in statistical surveys. RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce and validate weekly and monthly performance metrics. As new projects initiative commence, research and evaluate candidate performance metrics (including consulting with stakeholders), then develop and test standardized reports and ensure the ongoing accuracy of such reports. As reports are produced, analyze content, highlight relevant issues, and make recommendations. Working with the rest of the AmeriSpeak Panel Management Group, develop and participate in implementation of strategies to address problems revealed through the reports. Ensure smooth implementation of processes needed to maintain a high quality survey panel. Ensures that registration data is captured and processed accurately and regularly, that subsequent on-boarding steps are initiated on-time. Take a lead role in special projects as required, for example, analysis of call history data, preparation of training materials, documentation of processes, auditing compliance with certain procedures, literature reviews of methodological issues. May also coordinate with writers, graphic designers, producers, and other content contributors to ensure consistency in quality, style, and tone, and provide system training as necessary. May support business development activities for proposal, pricing, and contracting support for web survey projects. Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS:

3 years experience in quantitative analysis using SAS, STATA, R, or SPSS (using syntax) Strong knowledge of survey research, knowledge of data collection and data flow processes. Proficiency with data management in SAS, STATA, R, or SPSS ; Microsoft Office software, including word processors, spreadsheets and graphics (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Well-developed problem-solving skills, data analysis, time management, personal organization, attention to detail, discretion, and composure skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with agility and work effectively with multiple departments, stakeholders and internal/external clients. Ability to work effectively collaboratively with minimal supervision. Ability to adapt to new technology and participate in technical discussions. Knowledge of general office procedures, technology and equipment. Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) at all levels. #LI-RM1 SALARY AND BENEFITS: The pay range for this position is $70,000 –

$93,000. This position is classified as regular. Regular staff are eligible for NORC’s comprehensive benefits program.
