Senior Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Your expertise in software development and leadership will play a critical role in solving complex problems and driving technological advancements in national defense. You like to do this: * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance goals. * Design and code new software or modify existing software to add innovative features. * Debug software to resolve defects and improve performance. * Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. * Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance standards. * Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to derive requirements and implement solutions. * Lead and oversee software development teams, ensuring quality and performance alignment. * Develop system installation or build procedures, scripts, and documentation. * Drive process improvements in documentation and software development standards. * Design, develop, and optimize database interfaces and complex algorithms. You are required to have this: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, plus 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer, or 18 years of experience in lieu of a degree. * Strong experience in designing and implementing complex software systems. * Proven track record in leading software development teams and meeting project requirements. * Experience with software development processes, documentation, and quality control. * Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments. * Strong problem-solving, technical aptitude, and leadership skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * An active TS/SCI with polygraph Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 The BlueHalo, an AV Company, pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several factors including, but not limited to, level of position, job responsibilities, geographic location, scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, alignment with local internal equity as well as alignment with market data.
