First-time candidates are accepted. License: Pending license accepted. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Certifications: BLS, AK CNA License preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Job Description: - Perform CNA duties in a Medical Surgical unit within a Resource Float Pool. - Work as a one-to-one therapeutic safety aid frequently. - Provide patient care under the supervision of a nurse within an acute hospital setting. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using Epic charting. - Commit to working 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. - Willingness to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed. - Complete orientation with 40 non-billable hours. Note: Facility features a Magnet designation and a Level II Trauma Center. Vaccination for Hep B is required; no titers or declinations accepted. Housing options should be explored by the traveler due to limited availability. Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours; approval is needed for more than 20 hours. The facility provides communication devices if required for duties. References from supervisory roles covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting are necessary.
