What You Will Do Innovate & Architect: Design, develop, and maintain crypto wallet systems using Golang, with support for multi-party computation (MPC) and multi-signature (multi-sig) configurations. Architect modular, scalable backend systems focused on security and performance. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with partners to optimize configurations and setups for Ava Labs products. Provide technical guidance across Business Development, Product, Security, Finance, and Engineering teams. Drive Product Advancements: Assess opportunities and recommend solutions tailored to client needs. Establish architectures and systems that enable mass adoption while maintaining top-tier security. Exhibit Extreme Ownership: Take initiative, work autonomously, and deliver high-quality, secure backend solutions while embracing challenges and driving product excellence. What You Will Bring Technical Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on backend engineering experience; proven track record building crypto wallets or blockchain-related products; deep understanding of UTXO and Account models, state management, and consensus; strong secure coding practices in blockchain/crypto contexts; familiarity with cloud services and modern tech stacks. Leadership & Independence: Self-driven with extreme ownership; ability to work autonomously and proactively solve problems. Customer Focus: User-centric approach to designing high-quality products and translating customer challenges into development priorities. Nice to Have 3+ years of solutions architecture experience Experience with Golang and JavaScript Experience with multi-party computation (MPC) protocols Hands-on experience with advanced security testing tools and methodologies Infrastructure engineering expertise (Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) Prior senior-level engineering experience in a blockchain or crypto organization Salary Range $185,000 - $219,000 Why Ava Labs?
