Job Description

We currently have a career opportunity for a PIM Solutions Architect to join our team national Commerce team. This role is remote work.

Overview:
The candidates' primary responsibility will be to architect, develop and implement PIM solutions (ex: InRiver, Akeneo, Syndigo) over multiple projects and accounts. This includes technical design and integration architecture across multiple platforms, in depth understanding of data structures and modeling, defining and developing functional requirements, a thorough understanding of programmatic constructs and the development/deployment lifecycle, API driven development and package configurations, and testing & training approaches. This person should be comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment while working independently as well as part of a team. This person should have an effective communication approach and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading edge solutions, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural solutions/designs to project teams for implementation to ensure the achievement of business objectives and establish robust technical solutions that align with the client's requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentor and advise project teams on appropriate design strategies following industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance on system integrations, third-party services and components and other external systems. Advise on selecting appropriate integration patterns, APIs, and communication protocols for seamless interoperability.
  • Work with Client Teams and Architects to ensure that Infrastructure setup is implemented using PIM best practices.
  • Ability to plan and build scalable data solutions that satisfy business needs.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
  • Participate in release processes, post-deployment activities, and provide support for maintenance and bug fixes
  • Lead and coordinate Integrations/Middleware domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction across product portfolios.
  • Participate in thought leadership activities with a focus on practice growth.
  • Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for technical domains that may include multiple systems.
  • Assist sales and strategy teams in project estimation efforts as well as be a source for clarifying questions and providing value based recommendations.
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
  • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications.
  • Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate broad solutioning and technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change.
Qualifications
  • Exposure and/or experience with Product Data Systems, PIM, MDM, PLM or other related product data related solutions
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with related technologies
  • At least 2 project implementations that exploit the full technology capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) is a MUST
  • At least 3 years of experience in a professional services company, consulting firm, or agency
  • Experience with leading PIM applications (InRiver, Akeneo, Syndigo, Salsify, Stibo) preferred
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, design patterns, algorithms and software design
  • Confident expertise, experience and knowledge of C# and .NET software application development.
  • Experience with other technologies (SQL, .NET Core, React, Angular, Typescript, etc.) a plus
  • Experience with a variety of Web Service Technologies including RESTFUL API's, JSON/XML data (third party integrations) developing applications, collaborative coding (git), and working with CI/CD implementations.
  • Full life-cycle development experience - with Agile/Scrum project approach
  • Knowledge of version control systems, web development experience
  • Experience with estimating and project planning preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills attention to detail
  • A self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and customers
  • Experience working in a multi-client setting highly preferred
  • Experience in project and solution estimation and team structure definition.
  • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
