Milwaukee Tool is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing Business Analytics team in Milwaukee, WI. Milwaukee Tool is known for its strong business culture, which is centered around several core values.

Your Role on Our Team

**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, design solutions, deploy predictive models, and manage the model lifecycle- Use statistical and machine learning techniques to help analyze large data sets, create predictive models, and identify insights that drive business value- Help develop and maintain analytical models and algorithms to support inventory optimization- Implement data-driven solutions using Python and deploy them into production- Perform exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and data cleansing to ensure high-quality data inputs for the models- Communicate complex analyses and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence

Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field- 1+ years of experience with demonstrated experience developing and tuning predictive models and machine learning algorithms- Programming skills in Python, with experience in training and deploying models into production- Understanding of Spark and parallel cloud computation- Statistical and mathematical skills, with experience in regression analysis, clustering, and other machine learning techniques- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders- Experience with data intelligence solutions that support end user’s analysis and discussion making, including reports, dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations- Strong problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making- Experience in manufacturing or similar industries is a plus- Experience in marketing and consumer insights is a plus- Understanding of DevOps for CI/CD is a plus
