Job Description

Hard Rock Tulsa is searching for a sharp and reliable Drop Count Lead to join our dynamic team. This isn't your average desk job - you'll be the guardian of the green, ensuring every penny goes where it should. In this role, you'll be the key player in ensuring the smooth and secure collection and counting of casino cash. You'll lead your team by providing guidance, training, and ensuring adherence to all casino policies.

What You'll Do
  • Guide your team on casino policies and procedures, ensuring accurate cash handling. Provide feedback and evaluations to help them excel.
  • Ensure equipment and supplies are functioning properly for a smooth and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to equip new Drop Count Associates with the skills they need to succeed.
  • Oversee cash collection from slot machines, tables, and kiosks. Work alongside your team to ensure accurate counting and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate drop schedules with Casino Operations and Cage Management for seamless cash flow.
  • Ensure all drops are completed by designated deadlines to maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Be vigilant in protecting casino assets and report any suspicious activity to maintain a secure environment.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes excellent customer service.
  • Wear steel-toed shoes and a company uniform as required for the role.
  • Meet with team members to discuss performance and provide ongoing support.
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations.

  • You're comfortable working with large sums of money and ensuring accurate handling.
  • You can communicate clearly: Both written and verbal communication skills are essential for training your team, reporting, and collaborating effectively.
  • You can manage deadlines and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • You maintain basic computer skills that are required to handle reports and systems.
  • You're a team player who readily completes training and prioritizes safety.
  • You're flexible and open to assisting other locations, being on-call, and working during busy periods or holidays.
  • You've completed leadership training or possess strong leadership qualities within a team environment.
  • You can obtain the necessary gaming licenses required by the Cherokee Nation and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission.
  • You have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Work Environment
