**Job Summary:**

The **Civil Construction** **Manager** is responsible for building customer relationships and crews, managing construction projects, and optimizing project performance. Primary responsibilities include planning, budgeting, contracting, and executing construction projects with a focus on safety, quality, and costs. The **Civil Construction** **Manager** interfaces and works directly with crews, construction managers, customers and executive management.

**Responsibilities:**

* Establish TCE presence in industry through developing new customer relationships, strengthening existing customer relationships, and acting as a strategic partner to TCE and our customers

* Manage each project to schedule, budget, and allocated resources (i.e., staffing, materials, vehicles) and complete required reporting

* Complete pre-construction tasks such as bid submissions, estimates, and change orders

* Proactively identify risks, develop plans to mitigate risks, and implement solutions

* Direct and complete worksite activities such as site walks, municipality inspections, reporting, material and equipment distribution and organization, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles

* Complete accurately and on time daily reports, timesheets, expense reports, and close out process documents

* Recruit and develop high performing crews

* Ensure all safety regulations and standards are followed and corrective measures are taken

* Retain, engage, and develop employees through coaching, performance management, and effective conflict resolution

* Improve and maintain quality according to requirements and specifications while promoting a continuous improvement mindset

* Provide and hold teams responsible for care of tools and equipment

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 3 years in a Construction Management in Civil, Earthwork, Electrical and Tower

* Minimum of 1 years of Project Management experience

* Experience with managing in-house crews and subs

* Project Management software experience

* Experience on the General Contractor side

* Must be professional, ethical and practice high level of confidentiality

* Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Travel 50-75%

**Preferred Requirements:**

* Bachelors degree in Construction Management

* Minimum of 1 years of Project Management experience

* Project Management certification
