Provides expertise and assistance in guiding consistency and quality control of creative copy development and production. Reviews print/digital materials and provides recommendations in a timely manner throughout all aspects of project development. Promotes consistent, high-quality work by constantly developing and refining processes to increase efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a gatekeeper approach to all projects developed, with a focus on ensuring consistent and flawless execution.
  • Understand the business and marketing strategy to ensure you deliver work that aligns with the strategy.
  • Reviews and evaluates all projects for consistency and quality control and provides recommendations for further improvement. Involves all departments as necessary to ensure total group clarity around client mandatories or general development efficiencies.
  • Provides guidance in ensuring that all copy recommendations fall within brand standards as currently defined.
  • Promotes superior department work results by promptly responding to and resolving creative and production consistency or quality control issues as they arise.
  • Contributes to the team effort by recommending new approaches and procedures to ensure continual improvement and efficiency of all departments.
  • Applies a proactive, can-do spirit of service and problem solving to all projects.
  • Offers support to all team members to accomplish related results by providing hands-on assistance and training to account, project management, creative and production staff as needed.
  • Delivers under stressful conditions and tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Degree in related field desired. Advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Supervisory experience highly desired
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Typography skills and superior attention to detail and experience working with a graphic design team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to respectfully offer suggestions and gratefully accept feedback, maintaining a positive attitude and professional manner in all situations.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and efficiently complete multiple projects to meet shifting needs and deadlines by assembling needed resources.
