Warehouse Associate HF Foods Group Inc., headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a leading marketer and distributor of fresh produce, frozen and dry food, and non-food products to primarily Asian/Chinese restaurants and other foodservice customers throughout the United States. HF Foods aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine, leveraging its nationwide network of distribution centers and its strong relations with growers and suppliers of fresh, high-quality specialty restaurant food products and supplies in the US, South America, and China. Primary Functions: We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages Organizing the warehouse space Preparing orders for shipment Operating stock management tools; for example, a forklift, pallet jack Counting stock and keeping inventory records Any other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Hard working Drug Screening will be REQUIRED Physical Requirements: Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time. Education and/or Training: High School diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of warehouse experience A forklift driver's certification is preferred Work Conditions: Office and warehouse environment Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time Required wearing of appropriate PPE Exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in a warehouse environment Frequent computer and telephone use Frequent communication with people throughout the day Equal Opportunity Employer: HF Foods Group emphasizes and provides equal employment opportunities regardless of race, creed, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, or disability.
