This is an innovative crew with lots of moving parts, so you’ll need to work closely with your team and client to be the interface between our site and the cloud.

As a DevOps engineer, you know that listening to and understanding a client’s needs is the first step to introducing DevOps methodology to an organization. Your communication skills, combined with your technical knowledge, mean you’re well-versed in setting organizations up for success. We are looking for someone like you to bring your DevOps engineering knowledge and help our clients make a mission-forward impact. As an experienced DevOps platform engineer at Booz Allen, you will not only convey the importance of automation and efficiency to your clients but you will be directly involved in DevOps engineering work. Together with a team of experienced professionals, you will support the building and maintenance of a pipeline. You will automate configuration management to provision and secure platforms and tools that host and manage critical applications. Using your software engineering knowledge, you will guide delivery teams in integrating deployment technologies and best practices. You will apply your extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You Have:

3+ years of experience in a technology field, including Information Technology (IT) or software development3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, including GitLab and Jenkins3+ years of experience with configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clustersExperience with code scanning and container scanning toolsExperience with automation and Infrastructure As Code (IaC) using HashiCorp tools, including Ansible, Vagrant, and TerraformExperience with scripting tools, including Bash or Python to automate tasks such as installing and hardening operating systems using Government STIGs or deploying Kubernetes clustersKnowledge of the Cloud using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Secret clearanceBachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
