Main Purpose of the role
Have you ever wondered how chips, biscuits, candies are packaged and what is the solution behind the final product? As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the system design of full customer solutions - managing work packages, management of site works, and ensuring system performance and integration. You will be closely in touch with the sales team, aftersales colleagues, and customers. You will be part of an international team with large PMO expertise, traveling to meet customers in the country and the European region.
Primary Responsibilities
End to end project management including delivering systems within budget, on time and to specification, drafting CAD layouts during the project's life cycle. Producing engineering specifications for bought-out equipment or works packages. Ensuring design criteria complies with all applicable technical and statutory regulations (i.e. machinery directive). Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of "bought out" equipment. Providing technical solutions, price calculations, and risk support for sales proposals and attending both technical and commercial weekly meetings when requested.
What skills are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you must have a technical background and thinking (engineering studies preferred), material handling experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD or similar technical solution applications. In Ishida, we care about behaviors and you will feel comfortable in the project team if you are a team player and believe in your organizational skills. You will travel to customers and we would appreciate if you have a driving license and are not afraid to fly. Most of the communication happens in English. We offer 25 days vacation, meal vouchers fully compensated by the company, pension contribution, contribution for wellbeing activities, and a company car for private usage. Depending on the company results, you may be assigned with quarterly or yearly bonus.
