About the role The primary responsibility of the Quality Control Supervisor is to supervise installation operations that meet industry specifications and exceed customer expectations. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with a team of Project Managers. You will work within a supportive and fun team environment that values hard work and dedication. Responsibilities: Responsible for providing on-site coordination of fiber optic cabling, installation, modification, and splicing work performed by the crew. Includes the physical installation of cabling and overseeing the work of others. Survey job sites to determine the best installation practices. Coordinate workflow within the unit, act as a company liaison, and provide on-the-job training to other technicians as needed. Provide on-the-job training for employees on construction/installation practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Ensure and maintain all company quality control and safety requirements. Train, supervise, discipline, and evaluate field technicians. Identify performance issues and recommend and implement corrective action. Coordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing. Identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager. Develop and implement procedures to better organize the team/department. Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to lead technicians. Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. Perform quality control inspections and correct issues and complaints. Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where personnel are working. Other duties as assigned.
