Discovering your exciting role The Project Engineer will collaborate with the engineering team supporting NEHP’s large scale modular construction projects. This position will be on site in our Williston Vermont office.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities • 3D CAD Modeling and drawing detailing of Process Piping and Ductwork Systems. • Plan and effectively utilize the general time to advance the quality and efficiency of the office. • Depending upon the location of the home office (Vermont) and current project load, travel of a few days up to two week’s duration may be required. • Work directly with other team members and project engineers. When owning a specific task, delegate and coordinate effectively with assigned supporting team members. Reports to Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager.

Qualifications : • Detail oriented with the ability to focus for extended periods of time. • Must have the desire to learn and ability to work well with others. • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small and large groups. • Mathematical skills: Ability to apply mathematical skills and analyze data. Experience applying structured problem-solving and decision-making tools and methods. • Reasoning ability: Ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies and provide solutions; Ability to identify problems, collect information, establish facts, and suggest solutions; Ability to develop and support conclusions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities and experience : • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required. • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. • 3-5 years experience in engineering consulting or the construction industry using Revit. • CAD skills with Revit and Navisworks experience. • Detailed pipe design skills in process, manufacturing and HVAC applications. • Understanding of construction procedures, fabrication drawing detailing requirements, and contract document (bid document) requirements. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
