Tax Analyst

Responsibilities

Prepare and file a individual, partnership, and corporation tax returns for affiliated businesses and partners

Ensure accuracy and compliance with all federal and state tax regulations

Research and analyze complex tax issues related to multi-tiered business structures (partnerships and corporations)

Assist with responding to notices, sales tax audits, and income tax audits (after tax season)

Maintain detailed tax records and documentation

Stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations (CCH Access experience preferred)

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in tax preparation and analysis

Strong understanding of individual, partnership, and corporation tax principles

Experience with tax software (CCH Access preferred, GoSystems experience acceptable)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Prior experience in a fast-paced environment a plus
