Job Title: Director of Distribution and Operations Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid) Company Overview: LiteOn Optoelectronics is a global leader in Optoelectronics Components design and manufacturing. (LiteOn America) in the United States is looking for a creative, best-in-class professional who will thrive in a fastpaced, highly technical environment as director of distribution and Operations located in Plano, Texas. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication, leadership and team-working skills and will be unafraid of stretching his/her talents in a dynamic organization where respect and knowledge are far more important than reporting structure. Collaboration with colleagues at all levels will be the key to this person’s success at Lite-On. Position Description: This Director of Distribution and Operations position is hands-on and responsible for driving Lite-On distribution sales in the Americas and providing Operations support for Americas sales. This person owns the management, objectives, accountability, and execution for the commercial success of both the distribution business in the Americas and the operations of all sales in the Americas on behalf of Lite-On Optoelectronics. Summary: We are looking for a Director of Distribution and Operations for our Plano, TX region. Responsibilities: • Exceed revenue targets through strategic planning and execution. • Conduct quarterly business reviews internally and externally. • Monthly tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for goal attainment. • Identify and develop opportunities across LiteOn business units. • Collaborate with management to address customers' needs effectively. • Cultivate long-term relationships and partnerships with customers. • Represent LiteOn at relevant committees, trade shows, and exhibitions. • Manage distribution responsibilities including stock rotations, pricing, and marketing efforts. • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with distribution partners. • Provide escalation support and oversee channel strategy implementation. • Utilize business intelligence skills to manage databases and generate insightful reports. • Maintain basic knowledge of SAP and Salesforce. Qualifications: • 5-10 years of distribution sales experience in relevant markets. • 3-5 years of optoelectronics or related technical knowledge. • Proven experience in price and contract negotiations. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ambitious, analytical, and results-oriented mindset. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • High integrity and customer service focus. • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. • Familiarity with strategic sales processes and project management. • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
