FORKLIFT OPERATORS NEEDED

Heidtman Tubular Products, a Heidtman Steel company, is expanding and looking for dedicated team members to join our warehouse facility in Toledo, OH. We are currently seeking experienced forklift operators for all three shifts.

All Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities include:
  • Safely operate forklifts and combilifts to load and unload trucks
  • Store finished goods in the warehouse
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Receive incoming materials and enter them into the computer system
  • Stage loads, band materials, and generate tags
  • Inspect coils for correct gauge, width, and any visible damage
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating forklifts and combilifts required. Prior steel handler experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
  • Computer literate in order to maintain associated production documents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace
This is a physically demanding job which requires standing, bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to move up to 50 lbs.
