We are seeking a Lead Product Manager for our Finance, Billing, and Supply Chain (FBS) team, a team recently formed to be the backbone that drives innovation and adaptation of mission critical back-office applications and integrations. As the Lead Product Manager of the FBS team, you will be responsible for developing the long-term development plans of the FBS development team, managing the growth of the other product managers on the team, and taking responsibility for developing the systematic capabilities necessary to facilitate continued growth managed by our Finance, Billing, and Supply Chain stakeholder groups. As a result, you will have exposure to businesses & stakeholders throughout our organization.

Candidates for this role will require excellent communication skills, technical competence, and robust product management experience. In this position, you will work closely with the software engineering team and stakeholders to ideate, maintain, and develop Alarm.com services and tools.Help us expand our ability to serve customers in global markets, introduce new business models, and ultimately accelerate our growth as we optimize our existing capabilities

As a Lead Product Manager, you will:

Have ultimate responsibility of the Alarm.com Finance, Billing, and Supply Chain (FBS) development strategy

Manage a team of product managers that will rely on your insight and experience to guide their own professional development and to mentor them in their pursuit of career advancement

Drive the entire product integration life cycle

Understand the existing features of Alarm.coms platform

Coordinate integration and product launch roadmaps across multiple internal and external teams, including teams cloud platform engineers, quality engineers, UI/UX designers, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders

Oversee quality assurance efforts for product integration

Develop product marketing materials and technical documentation to support product integration

Lead improvements in development team operation by recognizing areas of opportunity, develop strategies to address them, and lead implementation of changes.

Develop and monitor key performance indicators of the development efforts of the team measuring the performance of development processes, the leverage effected through the output by the stakeholder groups, and ultimately the precision of development in addressing the needs of the stakeholder groups to promote business growth and efficiency.

Define and measure project milestones, effectively prioritizing deliverables, and managing cross-project, cross-team dependencies to meet team-wide delivery goals.

Administer, tailor, and implement project management tools, including the Atlassian software suite, to optimize team operation.

Champion the go-to market strategy and launches for new products facilitating product release with engineering, sales, supply chain etc., educating internal and external stakeholders and developing/delivering product presentations.

Conduct market research gather feedback from customers and analyze alternative products, leveraging insight to guide product development.

Recommend and champion improvements to existing product lines with collaboration from internal and external stakeholders.

Act as the product expert and liaison to internal parties as well as external dealers and partners.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, self-motivation, excellent communication skills, curiosity, creativity, and tenacity

7+ years in product, project, or program management with a track record for managing and launching successful products

Experience in managing the professional development of direct reports while managing responsibilities as an individual contributor

Conviction to work with teammates in-person in pursuit of strengthening bonds and improving execution while promoting this aspect of team culture

Robust understanding of business, technology, economics and/or finance

Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, agile driven engineering team, based on mutual trust and credibility

Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep technical understanding of Alarm.com and partner products

Willingness to assist in variety of product related tasks (logistical, testing, troubleshooting, planning)

Ability to act as customer advocate in dynamic group environment while considering teams overall priorities and goals

B.S. or B.A. required. Degree in an engineering discipline, finance, computer science, math, physics or related field is highly preferred
