As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in driving engineering initiatives aimed at process improvement, quality enhancement, and facility optimization. Reporting directly to the Director of Process, Systems, and Facilities Engineering, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate overall operational performance. Duties and Responsibilities: Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Quality Improvement: Work closely with the quality assurance team to assess and enhance product quality through process modifications and quality control measures. Facility Improvement: Evaluate and optimize the layout and design of manufacturing facilities to improve workflow, safety, and overall operational effectiveness. Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions to drive operational excellence. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to implement engineering solutions that align with organizational goals. Project Management: Lead and participate in engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints. Training and Documentation: Develop and implement training programs for production staff on new processes, procedures, and technologies. Create documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering Proven experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel between Amite, LA and Greensburg, LA as needed.
