Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products to ensure accurate inventory records. Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures. Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment. Communicate effectively with other shift leaders and management to report on inventory status and resolve any issues. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting any significant issues or trends. What is the experience needed to be successful in this role? High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
