Position: Inventory Control Specialist

We are a leading global logistics provider seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the Inventory Manager to maintain precise records of product flow, including both incoming and outgoing items. The ideal candidate will be adept at generating inventory reports and identifying discrepancies for the Inventory Manager's review. We value individuals who can take initiative and lead projects with minimal supervision.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • 1st Shift with flexible start times
  • Compensation starting at $18 per hour
  • Contract-to-hire opportunities available
  • Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine returned merchandise for quality and accuracy
  • Monitor and document the flow of products
  • Prepare and submit inventory control reports as needed
  • Ensure accuracy in counts through both digital and physical methods
  • Update inventory databases with product movements
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete inventory as instructed

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse teams
  • Accurate data entry and typing skills
  • Ability to respond to business needs promptly and professionally
