We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to join our team at Sumter Correctional Institution located in Bushnell, Florida.The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients.Qualifications•Associate's degree required•Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required•Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience preferred •Corrections, forensic, or criminal justice experience preferred •Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening•Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)•Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background checkAvailable Shift: Monday - Friday, extra shifts as neededWe offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...Indmhm
