JOB TITLE:
Operating Room Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The OR Manager is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations and management of the Surgery Center's operating theater.

This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff training, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.


REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.

Five or more years of Operating Room experience with three or more years of supervisory experience in a high-volume surgical setting.


Current American Heart Assn. BLS, ACLS certification also required.
